We can provide Cryogenic Insulation Perlite filling works using Potable Perlite Expander for all kinds of Liquified Gas Storage Double Walled Tanks (LNG, LIN, LOX and Ethylene Tanks) and Cold Box for Air Separation Units, Oil & Gas Plants. Perlite is made by crushing a volcanic rock into tiny particles. These particles are then passed through a furnace at nearly 1000 degrees C, to cause the water vapour trapped inside to "explode" so that each particle expands, forming an extremely light powder. Perlite simultaneously melts and expands up to twenty times its original size into an extremely porous material which in turn results in superior thermal insulation and sound proofing properties, as well as extreme lightness. As a volcanic glass, Perlite is non-flammable and an exceptional fireproofing material. Perlite concrete blocks (PCB), made by mix of lightweight perlite aggregate, ordinary Portland cement, and special admixtures have been used to insulate the base of double wall cryogenic tanks to insulate between the ground and the bottom of the tank itself. These blocks are being used because of their good load bearing strength, excellent thermal properties and resistance to seismic forces.
